The National Anthem on July 23, 2004

Anthony Kearns was invited by the Boston Red Sox to sing The National Anthem for their July 23, 2004 game VS The New York Yankees. Unfortunately, this was not televised nor recorded. By all accounts, it was amazing! The BoSox management was so happy with Anthony's performance, that they invited him to return. Apparently, most singers tape the Anthem and lip sing, or make mistakes. Not OUR Tenor!!

On July 25, 2004, Anthony sang "God Bless America" for the Seventh Inning Stretch of the Boston Red Sox VS New York Yankees Game.

Fortunately, this time it was taped, though not televised. We hope you enjoy this bit of beautiful audio!

I would like to express my thanks to Jim Larkin of Sounds of the Emerald Isle.
